“TOMBOY” is all about third culture food—a delicious fusion of her Filipino and Jamaican heritage, along with flavors she’s picked up from friends, travels, and various kitchens she’s worked in.

Originally from Brooklyn, Chef Chynna recently relocated from Orlando to Seattle. With a background as head chef at a Michelin-rated Japanese restaurant, she’s now showcasing her culinary talents at @archipelago_pnw, a fine dining Filipino chef’s counter.

Percy’s and Co

In 1898, Percy Sankey opened The Ballard Bar, and ran it as such until prohibition, at which time many bars closed their front doors, only to reopen the door in back. The Ballard Bar became Percy’s Men’s Furnishing in front, and simply opened its back door, like so many others.
